JAKARTA. Starting from 1 September 2020, taxpayers who want to get face-to-face services must take the queue number on the application provided by the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT). The application can be accessed via the DGT online page, https://kunjungan.pajak.go.id.
The face-to-face service is a service provided by DGT to taxpayers directly at the tax office. Through the available application, taxpayers can determine the date and type of service they want.
Some of the services available include an integrated service counter, tax consulting services, application consulting services, tax officer appointment services and other services.
After determining the type of service and time of arrival, the queue number will be sent automatically to the applicant's email address, then show the queue number to the officer upon arrival at the tax office.
When visiting the tax office, applicants are advised to arrive at least 10 minutes before the selected time. In addition, do not forget to bring your identity, as the officer will check the identity according to the ticket number received.
Meanwhile, specifically for the tax officer appointment service, the schedule must be in accordance with the tax office's capacity. Because, during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic, DGT limited the number of visits since meetings and services had to be adjusted according to health protocols.
In addition, those who wish to meet with a particular tax officer is advised to contact the relevant officer by phone, WhatsApp or email.
In its written statement, DGT emphasized that during the pandemic period some services could only be done online, such as submitting Tax Return (SPT), changes in taxpayer phone numbers and email data, validating Tax Payment Slip (SSP), transfer of land and building rights, and registration of tax incentives.
However, services that are not available online yet can be obtained through other channels such as email, WhatsApp or visiting the tax office directly.
