JAKARTA. The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) has released the latest patch update for the e-Faktur version 4.0 application and taxpayers can download it on the page https://installer-efaktur.pajak.go.id/.
Previously, the announcement of the release of the e-Faktur 4.0 patch update was conveyed through one of the DGT's official accounts @Kring_pajak on social media X, as quoted on Monday (12/8).
In the post, DGT revealed that taxpayers who experience problems in using e-Faktur so that the notification appears "This program is generated by unregistered Jar2Exe and it has expired to run for DEMO use" can download the patch update.
In addition to downloading the e-Faktur 4.0 update patch, DGT also advises taxpayers to follow the following steps:
1. Select one of the appropriate patch update files
The first step, taxpayers are required to visit the page https://installer-efaktur.pajak.go.id/. On that page, there are five patch update options, namely, Windows 32 bit, Windows 64 bit, Linux 32 bit, Linux 64 bit and Mac JAR 64 bit.
Then select and download the patch update that matches the type of personal computer (PC)/Laptop operating system used.
2. Extract Files
Next, extract the downloaded file so that it produces 3 exe/type application files, namely ETaxInvoice, ETaxInvoiceMain, ETaxInvoiceUpd,
3. Replace Old Files
After extracting, copy the three extracted files. Then, paste them into the current or existing e-Faktur 4.0 folder so that the old files are overwritten or replaced.
4. Modified Data
Ensure that the timestamp on the three .exe files copied into the e-Faktur 4.0 folder is accurate. Once verified, the application can be operated like the regular e-Faktur.
As we know, the e-Faktur version 4.0 application has been launched since 20 July 2024 replacing e-Faktur
