JAKARTA. The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) released the service of electronic matching of the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) of domestic individuals and the Single Identity Number (SIN).
As stated in the written statement, taxpayers can access the matching service through the DGT's official website, namely Tax.go.id.
The matching of Tax ID numbers with SIN is a follow-up to the government's policy of changing the format of Tax ID numbers for individual taxpayers with SIN which consists of 16-digit numbers.
DGT further stated that the matching facility is not only provided for Tax ID numbers with SIN but also for matching Tax ID numbers of corporate taxpayers, non-resident individuals, and government agency taxpayers with a 16-digit format.
