JAKARTA. The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) launched a new type of Electronic Tax Returns (SPT) or e-filing in the form of an electronic form (e-form) in PDF format.
Here are some of the advantages of e-form in PDF form compared to existing e-form, e-filing, or manual reporting.
First, the PDF e-form does not require a special application to fill it out. Unlike the previous e-form, which still has to be done through a special application that is not available on every computer.
Second, the use of PDF e-form does not need a large capacity of the internet. Because the use of the internet is only required when documents are sent or submitted.
In contrast to filling Tax Returns by e-filing the whole process requires an internet connection.
Third, filling in Tax Returns via PDF e-form is also easier and faster than filling in Tax Returns manually, which requires taxpayers to come to the Tax Office, or even through a delivery service.
Fourth, tokens can be sent via email and SMS with the One-Time Password (OTP) code.
Fifth, the PDF e-form also features data import in the form of a Comma Separated Values ??(CSV) file or a plain text file containing a list of data. This feature is to accommodate tabular data such as withholding tax receipt lists and others.
Sixth, there is a validation of State Revenue Payment Receipt Number (NPTN) and book-entry settlement when submitting. The seventh advantage, it can be opened in the Mac operating system.
Besides launching PDF e-forms, DGT also changed the old look of e-filing, by displaying the PDF e-form service at the top of the page. This is done so that taxpayers can be aware of the new feature.
