Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and MUC Consulting held a webinar on the provisions of Harmonized System (HS) code determination, especially regarding Pre Entry Classification (PKSI) on Wednesday, 13 January 2021. The webinar was successfully carried out thanks to the support of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE). Over 150 Japanese entrepreneurs in Indonesia have registered as webinar attendees.
The main speakers for the online seminar were the Head of the Sub-Directorate for Goods Classification of DGCE Panca Putra Jaya and the Director of Customs MUC Consulting, Bambang Sabur.
The event was opened with a speech by the President Director of JETRO Jakarta Keishi Suzuki and moderated by the Senior Director of JETRO Jakarta Shinpei Sasaki.
The speakers emphasized that PKSI provisions and procedures are important to be understood by Japanese entrepreneurs in Indonesia so that there are no mistakes or differences of opinion in determining the HS Code when importing.
