JAKARTA. The implementation of the Coretax Administration System (CTAS) has been delayed from the initial plan on 1 July 2024, to the end of 2024.
This was done because the government still needs time to conduct the System Integration Test (SIT) or testing for the application as a whole.
In addition, the government also still needs to test the Functional Verification Test (FVT) or tests carried out on modules in the system.
According to Expert Staff of the Minister of Finance for Tax Supervision Nufransa Wira Sakti, as quoted from cnbcIndonesia.com, the Core Tax system will only be launched if the testing is completed.
The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) will conduct a User Acceptance Test to ensure its readiness. "After that, deployment will be carried out at the end of 2024," said Nufransa.
Along with the testing process, the DGT is also migrating data from the existing system to the Core Tax System. The plan is that the launch of Core Tax will be carried out in stages.
After the launch, DGT will conduct a post-implementation support process, including maintenance activities and if necessary make improvements.
With the Coretax System, the government ensures that taxpayers will get convenience. Due to some of its features that will automate various kinds of tax administration processes.
One of the important features that will be in Coretax is Taxpayer Account Management (TAM) which presents tax information belonging to taxpayers comprehensively in one view.
In fact, in Taxpayer Account Management there will also be a ledger feature that records every taxpayer transaction, such as tax payments to the amount of tax payable in the form of Debits and Credits. (ASP/KEN)
