JAKARTA. With the purpose of disseminating and providing a comprehensive understanding related to two latest tax policies, namely the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 168 of 2023 and 172 of 2023, MUC Consulting has held a Seminar titled Taxation Update 2024.
PMK 168/2023 is a derivative regulation from Government Regulation (PP) Number 58 of 2023 regarding the mechanism for withholding Income Tax Article (ITA) 21. Meanwhile, PMK 172/2023 concerns the application of the arm's length principle (ALP) in transactions affected by special relationships.
The material related to the provisions of PMK 168/2023 and PP 58 of 2023 was presented by MUC Consulting Partner Meydawati and Tax Compliance Manager Muhammad Ridho. For the material for PMK 172.2023 was delivered by the Transfer Pricing Partner at MUC Consulting Wahyu Nuryanto and Transfer Pricing Director Zulhanief Matsani.
This event took place on Tuesday (6/2) offline at CGV Grand Indonesia and was attended by more than 140 participants. Given the crucial theme addressed in the Taxation Update 2024, participants seemed enthusiastic in listening to and responding to the topics presented.
In his opening remarks, Managing Partner of MUC Consulting Sugianto stated that this event is part of a series of commemorations of MUC Consulting's 25th anniversary in 2024.
Sugianto hoped that this event would be beneficial not only for MUC Consulting but also for all participants. Thus, the material presented could help solve tax issues or obstacles faced by the participants.
