JAKARTA. The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) announced that the web-based e-Invoice (e-Faktur) application is equipped with prepopulated features.
Thus, the VAT-Registered person who submits the Tax Return (SPT) for the Periodic VAT Return no longer needs to manually fill in the "other input tax" column.
Likewise, the filling of the VAT excess compensation value is also carried out automatically. So, the VAT-Registered person cannot change it manually.
Because, with the prepopulated system, the column will be automatically filled in based on the output tax and input tax data owned by the DGT from various parties.
DGT also reminded to the VAT-registered person to validate the column "VAT is paid in advance within the same tax period" on form 111 (master) of the Periodic VAT Return.
According to the DGT, the use of the prepopulated feature on the Periodic VAT Return is conducted to improve services while facilitating the supervision of taxpayers.
The use of prepopulated feature has just been applied in the e-Invoice 3.0 application which replaces the e-Invoice application 2.2. Unlike the e-Invoice application 2.2 which is still Client Desktop, the e-Invoice application version 3.0 can be accessed on a Web Based basis.
