DGT Will Write to Taxpayers to Participate in VDP

JAKARTA.The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) will send circular letters to participate in the voluntary disclosure program (VDP) to taxpayers. The letter was sent as part of the socialization of the second volume of the tax amnesty program.
The program, which runs from 1 January to 30 June 2022, consists of two policies. The first policy is intended for participants of the tax amnesty Volume I in 2016-2017. While the second program is for individual taxpayers who want to disclose their 2018-2020 assets.
Quoting CNBCIndonesia.com, the appeal will be sent in the near future via electronic mail (e-mail) which has been signed directly by the Director General of Taxes.
With this appeal, the DGT expects that taxpayers who meet the criteria can take part in the VDP according to the time allotted.
To be able to take part in the VDP, taxpayers can access the application that has been provided through the official website of the DGT, www.pajak.go.id.
This application can be accessed every day during the tax amnesty volume II validity period.
As of Thursday (6/1), the number of taxpayers who have participated in the PPS is 1,418 consisting of 1,499 certificates.
Meanwhile, the final income tax (PPh) received by the DGT is IDR 93.99 billion, which comes from the disclosure of assets of IDR 778.13 billion.
The disclosed assets consist of domestic declarations of IDR 665.87 billion, overseas declarations of IDR 68.74 billion, and assets to be invested in the amount of IDR 43.52 billion.
