JAKARTA. MUC Consulting in collaboration with Transaction Banking Job Bank held a tax webinar, Thursday (8/7/2021). This virtual seminar focuses on elaborating the theory and practice of calculating Income Tax Article (ITA) 21 and 23.
The speakers in this webinar are MUC Consulting consultants, Muhammad Ridho and Ghifari Ilham Aliya.
Both of them also touched on the impact of the issuance of Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation on the two tax provisions. One of them is related to the implications of the provision of ITA 21 borne by the government (DTP) facility to the company's obligations
In the opening speech, MUC Consulting Partner Meydawati explained the importance for all taxpayers, especially companies, to understand correctly the provisions of ITA 21 and ITA 23.
This is because a miscalculation can have a serious impact, not only for the company but also for employees, who must fill out the Annual Income Tax Return (SPT).
"Every company must have an interest in Income Tax Article 21, because they have to pay salaries to their employees and then make deductions," said Meydawati.
Nikolas Simamora, Vice President of Cash Product Management, UOB Indonesia, said that the webinar as part of the UOB Transaction Banking Experience is a manifestation of the Bank's commitment to helping customers improve corporate transaction governance to be better and meet compliance requirements. During the Covid-19 pandemic, online training methods have become effective and safe in delivering various modules, including understanding taxation.
For information, UOB's Transaction Banking Experience Center (TBEX) is a workshop forum created to increase knowledge, one of which is about the features and use of internet banking for UOB Bank customers.
Meanwhile, MUC Consulting is a company engaged in tax consulting services which also has a concern in disseminating tax information both through seminars or literacy publications.
