JAKARTA. The Tax Court of the Republic of Indonesia temporarily suspended court proceedings, until an unspecified time limit.
The decision was stated in Circular Letter (Surat Edaran/SE) of the Head of Tax Court number SE-01 / PP / 2020, regarding the Tax Court Service Policy in the Context of Preventing the Spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019, in the Tax Court Environment.
Thus, the trial activities scheduled for 17 March- 31 March, 2020 were postponed.
In addition, the tax court also did not receive any legal examination, such as a review of court decision, appeal and lawsuit up to March 31, 2020. Furthermore, the activities of sending a tax court decision and review of court decision are also temporarily stopped.
While, the helpdesk service activities, aside from the above services, they are still available through online channels. Tax court has already provided channels such as e-mail, websites and other facilities.
Previously, the Directorate General of Tax (DGT) has also stopped face to face service with the Taxpayer (WP). All tax administration activities at the Tax Office (Kantor Pelayanan Pajak/KPP) are transferred through online channels. (ASP/ken)
