JAKARTA. MUC Consulting is once again trusted to be included in the list of International Tax Review (ITR) Asia-Pacific (APAC) Tax Awards 2024 nominees from Indonesia. This time, MUC Consulting has received eight nominations for the ITR APAC Tax Awards 2024.
For information, the ITR APAC Tax Awards 2024 is an award given to tax and transfer pricing firms; and tax professionals in the Asia-Pacific region.
The shortlisted nominators were published on July 25, 2024, on ITR's official website. The purpose of the awards is to recognize the achievements and developments made by firms and professionals over the past year.
Meanwhile, the eight categories of nominations for MUC Consulting are divided into three groups. The first group is Jurisdiction Awards, awards given covering a jurisdiction. In this case, MUC Consulting has been nominated for two Jurisdiction Awards categories in Indonesia, namely:
- Tax Firm of the Year
- Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year.
In this Jurisdiction Awards group, apart from Indonesia ITR has set nominations in 14 other countries or jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific region.
Then, the second group is the Regional Awards which covers the Asia-Pacific region. In this group, MUC Consulting is listed as a nominee in the following categories:
- Pro Bono Firm of the Year
- Tax Innovator of the Year
- ESG Firm of the Year
- Tax Compliance & Reporting Firm of the Year.
Third, the award for individual groups, especially the Practice Leader award group for Asia-Pacific coverage. In this group, MUC Consulting is included as a candidate or nominee in the following categories:
- Transfer Pricing Practice Leader of the Year which includes MUC Consulting Transfer Pricing Partner Wahyu Nuryanto as a nominee.
- Tax Litigation & Disputes Practice Leader of the Year which includes MUC Consulting Partner Karsino Miarso as a nominee.

Some of the factors considered by ITR in selecting these nominees include achievements in the use of tax technology, innovation, policy, compliance and reporting, and diversity, equality, and inclusion. ITR plans to announce the winners of all these categories on September 18, 2024, in London. (ASP/KEN)
