PMSE VAT Revenue Hits IDR 6.86 Trillion as of October 2024, Surpassing 2023 Figures

JAKARTA. The Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) recorded that Value-Added Tax revenue from electronic transactions (PMSE VAT) reached IDR 6.86 trillion from January to October 2024.
This figure has already surpassed the total VAT PMSE revenue for the entire year of 2023, which was IDR 6.76 trillion. Thus, the trend of VAT PMSE revenue is expected to continue its upward trajectory since the regulation came into effect in 2020.
As a result, the total VAT PMSE revenue collected from 2020 to 2024 has reached IDR 23.77 trillion. Below is an overview of VAT PMSE revenue developments since 2020.
Increasing Number of VAT PMSE Collectors
The VAT PMSE revenue collected up to October 2024 came from 170 PMSE entities previously appointed by DJP. In the future, the number of VAT PMSE collectors is expected to grow.
In October, DJP added 15 more digital companies as VAT PMSE collectors, as follows:

- YOUZU GAMES HONGKONG LIMITED
- ARENANET, LLC
- NERIS Analytics Limited
- Circle Internet Services, Inc

- TP Global Operations Limited
- BETTERME INTERNATIONAL LIMITED
- Actitech Limited
- BETTERME LIMITED
- Lumen Research Limited
In addition to appointing 15 new PMSE VAT collectors, DJP also revised the data of three previously appointed companies in October, namely NEXWAY SASU, HOTJAR LIMITED, and FOXIT SOFTWARE INCORPORATED. (ASP/KEN)
